Thiago De Souza Nery
My name is Thiago de Souza Nery, and I am 23 years old. I am a native from Sobradinho, Bahia, a city that has a sea of sweetwater, the largest artificial lake in Latin America. I'm humorous, like to talk, and curious. I'm in the final year of a Computer Science course. What motivated me was playing computer games. Today, I am developing and studying web environments, and I am opening a business with three other partners. But I will continue to follow my goal. I remember vaguely things from my childhood, like riding a bicycle in the city where I was born, in the middle of the Caatinga. I remember swimming in the dammed lake, playing ball, and playing on the square in front of the house. I remember buying sodas, and chew sugar cane cuts with my grandfather. One of my philosophies of life is the bushido (a uniquely Japanese code of conduct adhered to by samurai), where we serve while thinking that this is the last day. This started as a joke, without definition it, but serving all, giving dedication and my love is becoming a call. I am a lacto vegetarian, avoiding to eat things very aggressive. Currently, I live in Petroline, where I completed my studies and found special people in my life, especially my ex-wife, who was my partner and a person that I know God would want me to help. I hope to educate my children with these principles, as my mother and father, trying to do better.

What is your dream of life?
My dream is professional achievements and to have opportunities to develop educational, collaborative, and commercial games.

Who is the most influencial person on your decisions of today?
My professors and my wife.

What does your future look like?
To achieve professional fulfillment, financial stability and a good family structure.

Over the last couple of years, what has been the biggest improvement to your life and why?
It was to finish the course of computer science and to spend the time with the person I love. That will help in building financial and professional stability.

Francisco Glaudson Granja Parente
It is complex to say concretely who we really are. However, based on what I've lived through, I can say I am a person trying my best to be sociable. My strengths are mainly based on respect for others, trying to be a nice person, very communicative and committed to my goals: to become a doctor, a well qualified professional and a helpful person, supporting my family, which is the basis for all my life. My family consists of my father, my mother and me. Despite being an only child, I never had a lonely childhood. I always had fun with my friends, my cousins, and after all, had a normal childhood like everyone else. Previously it was more "innocent", unlike today, the media - have totally changed the concept of being a child. I always liked playing with my action figures, play soccer with friends from the street, play hide and seek, in short, all the traditional games. I am currently enrolled in 3rd year high school and doing a pre-college preparatory courses. I also like to hang out with my friends, being with the whole family together, watching movies, reading good books, surf the Internet. I try to be as dynamic as possible. It's hard to say what I think of the world situation at present. I try to spread peace, respect, love, friendship, because I believe that only with this, the world can become better.

What is your dream of life?
My dream is to finish medicine, build a family, and being able to live with everybody.

Who is the most influencial person on your decisions of today?
My parents, they invest in me, and my teachers.

What does your future look like?
Hopefully a big family, and being able to know many places in the World.

Rafael Rodrigues Costa
My name is Rafael and I'm 17 years old. I live in Petrolina in Pernambuco. I'm studying the third year of high school and completing my technical training. I want to be a professional Engineer of Industrial Automation. The most interesting subjects for me are social relations, politics and exact science. I have a normal family: it's me, my brother, my mother and father. My childhood was healthy, I played a lot, and as a child I was always curious. Unfortunately the state where I live has the worst education in the country - I study at a public school but the the education is sufficient. One of the things I learned is the importance of moral values, especially humility. Today, what makes me happiest is to enjoy the moments with those who are important to me. About the world I just think: "It's crazy." There is an ongoing reversal in the importance of values.

What is your dream of life?
My dream is personal and professional realization, to build a family and having good friendships.

Who is the most influencial person on your decisions of today?
My family and friends. They help me with difficult decisions.

What does your future look like?
I will be working with industrial automation.

I am the son of a Doctoral Fisheries Engineer, and a mother with secondary education incomplete. I had a great childhood, good friends, and always under supervision of my parents, who gives me good guidance. I like to do what young people usually likes: parties, studies, and lots of adventure! They have better economy and more opportunities. I'm a very communicative and outgoing person, and I have a strong personality. Everybody in my family have strong personalities. It's a modern family. I had a great childhood, I enjoyed it a lot and did not like monotone activities. I was educated by my parents, they sought the best for me and taught me to always choose the best way. Today, I like going to parties, hanging out with friends and surfing the net. In my opinion the world is a maze for young people who are influenced by petty things. I admire people with a good character and seeking to preserve the friendships that I establish.
